# List Origination Task Types

> Returns origination task types for POST /customers/schedule/sync with scheduleMode=enroll. This catalog does not indicate account enablement. For collections use GET /collections/task-types.

Use this authenticated lookup to populate origination setup screens. It returns
only origination task types, as a JSON array of case-sensitive strings:

```json theme={null}
["PendingLoanNewLead", "PendingLoanReturning"]
```

* `PendingLoanNewLead`: new application outreach.
* `PendingLoanReturning`: returning borrower outreach.

For collections screens, use
[List Collections Task Types](/api-reference/endpoint/collections/task-types).
The catalogs are separate; no scope discriminator or response filtering is needed.

## Request

```bash theme={null}
curl --request GET 'https://api.finosu.com/origination/task-types' \
  --header 'X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY'
```

## Using the selected type

Send the selected `taskType` to
[Origination Enrollment](/api-reference/endpoint/customers/origination-enrollment)
with `scheduleMode: "enroll"`, the required customer/application fields and an
`Idempotency-Key`. Enrollment creates or reuses the customer and schedules the
application. Returning one-off outreach uses `PendingLoanReturning` with
`oneOff: true`; it is not a separate type.

This read-only catalog does not create schedules or indicate account enablement.
The values are the same for every authenticated company; enrollment still enforces
its validation and the company's enabled workflows.

## Response and compatibility

HTTP `200` returns the string array above, with no pagination. Missing, empty,
invalid, or inactive API keys return `401`.

The former `GET /task-types` route is replaced by these scoped endpoints:

* Origination lookup: `GET /origination/task-types`.
* Collections lookup: `GET /collections/task-types`.

Update the lookup URL after deployment; the string-array format is unchanged.
The former route is not retained as an alias. `Collections` is not returned by
the origination catalog and is not accepted by origination enrollment.

Read values by name rather than position and do not assume a fixed array length.
Only enable types whose documented workflow your integration supports.
